The origins of the winery date back to the XVI century, when the castle was built. The property is located in the area of Oltrepo Pavese, about 80 miles south of Milan , Lombardy .  

Tipically a red-sparkling wine area, it nowadays produces some important wines. The quality of the wines is guaranteed by the name of the winemaker, Donato Lanati, nominated one of the best in Italy .

  

     

TASTING NOTES: 

Aged 1 year in oak of Slavonia and 1 year in the bottle. Rich nose of black berries, spice and vanilla with a hint of carruba. At the palate it is rich, intense and with a long, persistent spicy finish and great drinkability.
